One of the most popular pizza delivery restaurants has now started accepting bitcoin at their Manchester City Centre franchise.
It is unclear at the moment if other franchises will also accept bitcoin or not because the American based company operates as a franchise business. However, this is a promising move by the franchise.
An interesting thing to note here is that this is not the first time Papa John's is in the news due to Bitcoin. Back in 2010, a developer Laszlo Hanyecz purchased two pizzas with 10,000 bitcoins. At that time, the worth of those 10,000 bitcoins was only $25, but now the same 10,000 bitcoins are worth 70 million dollars.
One bitcoin at the moment is worth around $7000.
